After the Fiat Punta 1.2, which has already been discussed, we decided to present you another member of the Punto family, and that is the diesel 1.3 multijet, which according to previous sales has proven to be better, but also much better than gasoline.

Production of the Fiat Punta 1.3 mjet began in 2003 and lasted until 2010, and brought a new generation of Punta to the car market, the third in a row, under whose hood is an excellent common-rail turbo diesel Multijet engine with 69 hp. This 1.3-liter engine proved to be much better than all previous four-cylinder diesel engines, because it allows you to achieve higher speeds than the competition. Also, economy and reliability, as well as favorable registration, due to the small cubic capacity, are the main reasons for its constant sales over the last ten years. Excellent brakes, comfortable ride

The ride feels a little harder suspension, while the comfort is quite correct, even on longer journeys, but also when entering corners faster. The braking system, which also has ABS, proved to be excellent, so drivers, regardless of the weather conditions, brake accurately and quickly.

The model also has a “city” option that automatically shuts off when driving at 70 km / h and thus provides the right atmosphere when driving on the open road, reaching very quickly and its maximum speed of 164 km / h. What has increased the demand for this Punto model is the rather low fuel consumption, which is about 5.6 liters in city driving, while on the open road it is below four liters.

From the equipment he has el. windshield wipers, dual drive power steering, ABS, trip computer … There is plenty of luggage storage space, because in addition to the trunk of about 260 liters, the rear seats can be lowered, which gives much more space.

In our market, the used Fiat Punto 1.3 from 2003 and 20,000 kilometers can be bought at a price of around 2,500 euros, while the younger ones are more expensive by 2,000 to 3,000 euros.
